Barbeque & Bluegrass at Elk Cove Vineyards Saturday, September 19th, 5-9 PM
A few tickets are still available for CRN's Barbeque & Bluegrass event at Elk Cove Vineyards.

If you purchased tickets for the event at Portland Iron Chef, your tickets will be mailed the week of August 17th.

CRN Family Picnic - A Huge Success!

CRN's Annual Family Picnic at Peninsula Park on Thursday, July 16th was a huge success! With a little more than 200 people attending, everyone enjoyed a wonderful lunch and play time with their children. Thank you to those who supported the family picnic.

Diaper Drive Update

 Our diaper drive is in its final week and the many people who have decided to lend a helping hand is truly exciting!  We use over 1,000 diapers each month with our greatest need for diapers sizes 4 and 5.  Your diaper donation will help reduce our expenses, which means more funding can be devoted to services.
 
There's still time to be part of the Diaper Drive which ends August 15th.  You can drop your donation off at the Nursery between 8:30AM-5:00PM Monday-Thursday and 9:00AM-1:00PM on Friday. CRN Receives Support for Our Work

CRN recently received funding for our work from two major funders:
  • Meyer Memorial Trust, a private, independent foundation representing Mr. Fred G. Meyer's personal philanthropy, granted CRN $150,000 over the next two years to support our programs and services.  For more information about Meyer Memorial Trust, go to www.mmt.org.
  • The Portland Children's Investment Fund recently awarded CRN $1.1 million over the next three years to support our programs and services and to support programs for local children in the foster care system. The Portland Children's Investment Fund annually generates about $12 million to sustain and expand programs reaching out to 16,000 Portland children and families each year.  For more information, go to www.childrensinvestmentfund.org.
The families we serve in our community need this support now more than ever and we greatly appreciate the investment from Meyer Memorial Trust and The Portland Children's Investment Fund.

Children's Relief Nursery provides intensive child and family interventions to prevent child abuse and neglect. Programs include Nursery-based therapeutic classes and respite child care, early parent education, and regular home visits.
