CRN Family Picnic - Overwhelming Response
 CRN's Annual Family Picnic at
Peninsula
Park is next Thursday, July
16th. We've received a huge response from our families and, at last
count, expect to host close to 200 people. This is nearly double the size of
last year's picnic. We are thrilled with this participation rate but are also
trying hard to meet all the costs involved with the event. We welcome your help -- a gift of $20 will
help us provide lunch to a family of four and provide transportation to and from
the park. Thank you in advance for your help.

donation be directed to the CRN Family Picnic Fund or contact Sue Warren at

Join the "Diaper
Drive with a Mission"
Now is the time to lend your support to one of our most
fundamental needs - DIAPERS!!
The goal of our drive is to receive 6,000 donated disposable diapers by
the end of July. Are you ready for the
challenge?
We use over 1,000 diapers each month in our classrooms and our greatest need is for diapers in sizes 3,4,5 and 6. Your diaper donation will help reduce our expenses, which means more funding can be devoted to services.
You can
drop your donation off at the Nursery between 8:30AM-5:00PM
Monday-Thursday and 9:00AM-1:00PM on Friday, or make an online donation now and note that you wish your donation be directed to the "Diaper Drive with a Mission" fund. For more information contact Cynthia Jones at 503-595-4512.

Grant Thornton Interns Eager to Volunteer
 The 2009 summer student interns at Grant Thornton selected
Children's Relief Nursery for their volunteer service project on June
26th. College student interns Jennifer
Hoagbin, Emily Patrick and organizer Dale Yee spent the day at the Nursery
providing much needed clean up of our building and outdoor play area.
We are very grateful for this much-needed
assistance and commend Grant Thornton for endorsing partnerships to support
local non-profit organizations. Interested in coordinating a service day at the
