Help Us Finish Our Year Strong

Just four days remain in our fiscal year, and we need your help! Tough economic times have hit, and none feel it more than families who are already struggling. Please help Children's Relief Nursery as it reaches out to families and provides a safety net for children who are at risk of abuse or neglect. How does the Nursery help? View Alissa's inspirational story. Then donate now. Thank you!

Why Get Involved?
"Thanks for finding a place for me (to volunteer in the two-year-old classroom). I've received more rewards than I thought possible, and am grateful for the opportunity to finally work with those wonderful kids and the fabulous staff at CRN. I have special admiration for Gayle (Horwitz, the classroom lead) and her incredible insight into what makes two-year-olds tick. She's a kind of horse-whisperer but for kids. What a gem!"
-- Laura Mounce, long-time volunteer

Foundations Support CRN's Work
In the past month, several Charitable Foundations have become partners with Children's Relief Nursery. The Hampton Family Foundation of The Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) gave $10,000 and The Deibele Family Fund of The OCF gave $2,000, both to support the general work of the Nursery. The PGE Foundation provided $10,000 to support the Therapeutic Classrooms. The Students at Thurston High School in Eugene awarded the Nursery $1,000 from their Community 101 Grant.

About Us
Children's Relief Nursery provides intensive child and family interventions to prevent child abuse and provide support and encouragement to parents with challenging life circumstances. Programs include Nursery-based therapeutic classes and respite child care, early parent education, and regular home visits. Voluntary parent participation, combined with individualized goals, has the most positive result. Support for positive and nurturing parent/child interactions is the key to success.
