Who We Serve (Who Qualifies)

The Children’s Relief Nursery model was created to offer support to families with young children—at least one under the age of five—under significant stress.

Factors such as financial distress, domestic violence, the loss of a job, substance abuse or single parenting with no relief can threaten a family’s stability and integrity. We also sometimes serve mothers who are in the third trimester of pregnancy if they meet the other qualifiers.

No matter what the family’s circumstances are, we serve those whose children are in their first few years of life. This is the time when we have the greatest ability to make a positive impact on their children’s brain development.

Once we intake a family into our program, we immediately create a Family Goals Plan to help reach their fullest potential. When their goals are complete and family stress is reduced, they “graduate” from CRN.
